Gingerbread Competition 2007 Saturday, December 1st, 2007 Hosted by: Ponoka High School, Ponoka. Public Viewing: 11:00 - 12:00 Judging: 12:00 - 12:30 Medal presentations: 1:00 pm Raffle of Gingerbread creations following presentations Location: Ponoka Composite High School Raffle Details: Raffle Tickets are $25.00 (first come, first served). Number of tickets sold matches the number of gingerbread houses.As tickets are drawn, you get to choose your gingerbread of choice. All proceeds of the raffle are donated to the Canadian Chef Educators Scholarship/Bursary Fund which provides an education award for students wishing to pursue Culinary Training at a post-secondary institution. Competition details: Any school or college teaching Cooking programs may compete. (With a $60.00 purchase of membership to CCEA). Categories include: 1. Secondary 2. Post-secondary 3. Competition rules All competitors must be members or students of members of the Canadian Chef Educators Association. All entries need to be placed on a solid board (platform) no larger than 20inch x 20 inch . The 20x20 size ensures that the product will be easily transported and of a presentable size for easy display. All items on the finished product with the exception of the platform must be edible. No batteries, lights or other artificial materials may be used. Have fun and start building. |
